Bindery for Teams · seats, pooled credits, one invoice
Several people. One book studio. One bill.
Bindery makes real books — written with an AI editor, typeset, printed and shipped. A team puts the whole studio under one roof: everyone who writes gets a seat, the seats pour their credits into one shared pool, the people who only need to read get in free, and finance gets one invoice that already says who and what.
Start a team — $39/seat Per seat, per month · $390/seat/year (two months free) · from 2 seats · cancel anytimeWhat a team changes
Four things a stack of personal plans can’t do.
One pooled wallet
Every seat brings 10,000 AI credits a month into a shared pool. A quiet colleague’s credits carry a busy one’s manuscript; nobody hits a wall while the team as a whole still has runway. Admins can put a monthly limit on any seat, and the usage table shows who spent what, live.
Roles — and free readers
Owners and admins run the roster, the settings and the bill. Members write. Viewers are free: the whole company can open every team book read-only without costing a seat. The billing contact is free too — invoices and the card, nothing else.
A shared library and a house style
Logos, cover art, fonts, templates — uploaded once, dropped into any team book by anyone. House style notes and your imprint apply to every team book automatically, so the editor writes in the company’s voice from page one.
One invoice for seats and usage
Seats follow your roster: invite someone and the next invoice adds them the day they accept; remove someone and it credits you. Credit packs and overage land on that same invoice as their own lines. Teams of 5+ seats can pay by invoice, net 30, addressed to the company.

The questions teams ask
- Does a member’s own book use the team’s credits?
- No. Team books draw from the pool; a person’s own books draw from their own credits. A book moves into the team with one click by its owner, and out again just as easily.
- We already have a Pro member. What happens to their plan?
- Both can exist: their seat covers team books, their own membership covers their own. Most people cancel the personal plan once the team is live — it’s one click in Account → Manage billing.
- What happens when the pool runs out?
- Members see “ask an admin”, never a card form. An admin adds a pack (credits land now, the charge lands on the next invoice) or arms overage with a monthly cap so the pool refills itself. Nothing is ever charged silently — every automatic pack rings the admins’ bell.
- Can we pay by invoice?
- From 5 seats: choose “invoice” at checkout, give the company name, and Stripe emails a net-30 invoice. The workspace opens the moment it’s paid. Smaller teams pay by card in about a minute.
- Who owns the books?
- The people who wrote them, as always — a team book keeps its creator as owner; team owners and admins can also print, export and manage it. Export everything, any time, including if the team ends.
