For ghostwriters & executive-branding agencies · Bindery
Ninety percent of the book, done the afternoon after the interview.
You charge €20,000 to make a CEO an author. Bindery is the engine behind that price: it reads every interview transcript, writes the draft in the client's voice, typesets it, designs the cover — and puts a finished-looking book in front of the client under your name while the competition is still scheduling a kickoff.
The sample opens the studio as a guest — no account first. Plans, seats and invoicing are on the teams page. How it runs
- Drop the interviews in.
Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Gong and Otter exports (.vtt, .srt, .txt, .docx), Word and PDF, pasted notes, YouTube links, and recordings (.m4a, .mp3, .mp4, .wav) transcribed by the minute. The editor reads every word first — it keeps a visible checklist as it goes — and maps the themes, the stories and the client's own best lines before it writes a sentence.
- Steer the draft in chat.
“Open with the bankruptcy, not the IPO.” “Tighter, less consultant.” Each ask is a rewrite and a fresh typeset proof; the typography, margins and cover are designed to the book, not poured into a template.
- Present on a proof page that carries your brand.
A private page with the 3D cover, real typeset pages and the narrated opening chapter, under “Prepared by <your firm>” — no product name, no sign-up door. Usually that is the close.
- Deliver at your price.
Press-ready PDF, EPUB and a Word manuscript for the client's editor, or hardcovers printed and drop-shipped — to the client, or to a list of their board members' addresses.

Where it fits
Most ghostwriting firms run the Partner programme (15% partner print rate, unlimited client books) or the monthly Agency plan; a firm with several writers takes a Team plan for the seats and the pooled budget.
Questions
- Will the draft sound like my client, or like an AI?
- It is written from the client's own transcripts, grounded in what they actually said, in their register — and the editor asks you rather than inventing when the material runs thin. You steer voice and structure in plain language; the fidelity of the words to the interviews is the whole point.
- Can my client see the book without seeing Bindery?
- Yes. The proof page carries only your name and note; exports are clean; the optional last-page colophon is one switch. Your firm's imprint is the default on title pages.
- How much does a 45,000-word draft cost me?
- Drafting, design and typesetting are paid in AI credits included with the plan — a full-length first draft with several rounds of revision fits comfortably inside a month's Partner or Team allowance. Printing is per copy, quoted before you order.
